All incoming freshmen at Quinnipiac University are required to purchase a designated Dell Latitude laptop through the Quinnipiac Laptop Purchase Program before arriving on campus in August. By arrangement between Dell and Quinnipiac, this laptop is configured with specific hardware and software features adapted for use at the university. The link below provides information about the Laptop Purchase Program. Laptops purchased through the program are protected through “Complete Care” and “Computrace,” which feature a warranty and service plan, and theft-protection. The Quinnipiac Computer Help Desk is certified to service and repair Dell laptops, free of charge to students. In the event of a computer malfunction, students under the program are entitled to receive a loaner laptop until the problem is resolved. Students who do not purchase a Quinnipiac laptop will receive more limited support from the Computer Help Desk. |
