1) From the Finder’s Go menu select “Connect to Server” 2) Enter qumac.quinnipiac.edu in the dialog box displayed. 3) Click on the Guest option then click Connect. 4) Click on Student SW to mount the volume on your desktop. 5) Double click on the Student SW volume to open it. 6) Double click on the OS X folder to open it. To install Norton (Symantec) Anti-Virus a. Double click on the Norton Anti-Virus folder to open it. b. Double click on the .dmg file to mount the disk image on your desktop to install the software over the network. To install Microsoft Office 2004 a. Double click on the Office 2004 folder to open it. b. Double click on the .dmg file to mount the disk image on your desktop to install the software over the network. To install the Cisco VPN client a. Double click on the OSX Cisco VPN Client 4.0.5 folder to open it. b. Follow the instructions in the ReadMe file to install the software. To Install the Citrix ICA client software a. Double click on the Citrix folder to open it. b. Follow the instructions in the ReadMe file to install the software. Reboot your system once you have finished installing any of the above software.
