Student Academic Support
You may have AV equipment delivered to a regularly scheduled class during the posted hours by requesting the service at least 24 hours in advance. Projection and video equipment is not available for use in the residence halls or the Bobcat Den. Audiocassette recorders, camcorders, document cameras, overhead projectors, CD players, slide projectors and other traditional AV equipment are available for classroom delivery. The Media Center staff is available to provide technical advice if you are preparing a classroom presentation. Be sure to talk with a staff member while your project is in the planning stage.

Media Services also will produce overhead transparencies (black & white only) from student materials for classroom presentations. Write-on transparency material to create hand-drawn diagrams, etc. also is available for student class presentations. There is no charge for transparencies.

Recreational Support
Media Services makes every effort to support Quinnipiac University’s clubs, organizations and other non-classroom users. However, academic requests have priority over recreational requests for services. All requests for the delivery of AV equipment must be made well in advance. Video and projection equipment are not available for use in the residence halls or for outdoor locations. Use of projection and audio equipment in the Buckman Theater, Kresge Lecture Hall and other special venues must be by trained personnel. Call the Media Center to arrange for training well in advance of your event. Microphones and other equipment are available for evening and weekend events sponsored by university organizations. A valid Quinnipiac ID card is required to sign out audiovisual equipment.
