Pop-up windows have long been both a useful and an annoying feature of internet experience. In response to the annoyance, certain browser add-on applications, such as the Google and Yahoo toolbars, offer pop-up blockers that give you more control. Also, Microsoft's Service Pack 2 for Windows XP installs an automatic pop-up blocker in your IE web browser. However, the good as well as the bad may be blocked by these pop-up blockers. If you have installed Microsoft's Windows XP Service Pack 2, click here for instructions on how to adjust the Microsoft pop-up blocker for the Quinnipiac site. If you have installed Google's toolbar for your web browser, click here for instructions on how to adjust the Google toolbar pop-up blocker for the Quinnipiac site. Alternatively, you can access any linked "pop-up" window by holding down the Control key (Ctrl) at the lower-left corner of your keyboard while clicking on the link. |
