Email & voicemail

Email

Email is an official form of communication among faculty, staff and students and should be especially useful to you as a part time faculty member. On the adminstrative side email is used as the primary means to communicate important operational information as well as announcements regarding professional workshops and community activities.  Additionally, when you use your Quinnipiac e-mail account to request services from, or submit information to, other offices on campus, the system authenticates your identity as a community member.  You should check your Quinnipiac email account regularly.

If you are finding that having multiple email accounts is making managing your Quinnipiac email difficult, contact Frank Villa, Manager of Academic Computing (582-8926) to explore the possibility of having your Quinnipiac e-mail forwarded to another account.

Voice Mail

Voice mail boxes are now available to part-time faculty members.  If you feel that having a voice mail box on the University’s phone system would be of help to you in communicating with students and other members of the Quinnipiac community, send an e-mail to telecommunications@quinnipiac.edu, identifying yourself as a part-time faculty member and your desire to have a voice mail box established for you.  Once an extension has been assigned, you will receive detailed instructions on how to access the system.

To check your voice mail on campus dial x8647.  To check your voice mail from off campus dial 203-582-8647.
