Random Blocks of Questions

Using random blocks allows you to have an assessment with a set number of randomly selected questions from designated question pools.

     Print Instructions

1. From the course menu on the left of your course page, click "Control Panel."
2. Click "Test Manager" in the Assessment area on the right.
3. Click "Add Test." The "Test Information" page appears.
4. Click the text box next to "Name" and type a name for your test.
5. Click the text box under "Description" and type a description for your test.
6. In the next text box, type instructions for your students.
7. Click "Submit" on the bottom right of the screen. The "Test Canvas" appears.
8. Click the combo box to display the question types.
9. Click "Random Block."
10. Click "Go."
11. Click an assessment item.
12. Click the check boxes to select certain question types.
13. Click the text box to enter the number of questions.
14. Click the "Point Value" text box and enter a point value.
15. Click "Import."
16. Click "OK."
17. Click "OK."
