Academic Exchange Quarterly, Winter, 2010

Academic Exchange Quarterly is a peer reviewed journal that publishes articles related to effective teaching and learning.

This call for papers explores research and practice related to educational technologies. How are innovative technologies being used in education, and with what effects? If you are using educational technologies or are conducting research in this area, consider submitting an article. Case studies, experiences, and conclusions based on data are welcome.

Submission procedure

Deadline: end of July 2010 to be considered for Editor’s Choice, or August 31, 2010 at the latest.

International Society for Exploring Teaching and Learning (ISETL)

ISETL-2010

The program committee invites proposals for 50-minute concurrent sessions and poster sessions. Concurrent sessions can either be interactive teaching sessions or academic research sessions. Submit proposals to ISETL.

International Conference on Education, Training, and Informatics: ICETI 2010 and the International Conference on Society and Information Technologies: ICSIT concurrent conference

Education (cognitive development) and training (performance in a specific skill) are different but highly related notions. They have common means to achieve their objectives as it is the case of, for example, teaching, learning and e-learning. Informatics is supporting both of them with an increasing frequency and effectiveness in more and more activities and domains. The objective of ICETI 2010 Organizing Committee is to bring together researchers, professionals and practitioners from the three areas so they can share their knowledge and experiences in an multi- and inter-disciplinary intellectual climate.
