Rosters & rooms & schedules

The registrar will ask you for room requirements (size and facilities) prior to scheduling courses.

The registrar enters all course information into WebAdvisor, and this information is then used to create courses in Blackboard, complete with faculty and rosters for each course.

Information on courses, schedules, rooms, and rosters

Login to WebAdvisor and search for your courses and their schedules, locations, and rosters. The rosters and faculty for each course are also visible in Blackboard.

NOTE: Beginning the fall semester 0f 2006, faculty will have access within Blackboard to id pictures of the students in their classes.
Access to these pictures will be limited to faculty, and faculty will only be able to see students in classes that they are teaching.

To access the picture roster, log in to Blackboard, select your course, open the control panel, and in the course tools box - click on "student roster", the last item in the box.

Information on the facilities in rooms

Information on projectors, network connectivity, seating and other facilities can be found in the room scheduling system.

NOTE: Process for providing hardware and software for classrooms with computer clusters

Should you have special needs for software or hardware in classrooms with computer clusters, send requests to Gary Pandolfi (Liberal Arts and Communications faculty) or Maureen Schorr (Health Sciences or Business faculty) by the beginning of the spring semester so that the clusters can be configured for the following academic year. Computer clusters are normally configured once a year, prior to the fall semester.
