Sign-Up Sheets in a Wiki Page
Ever create a sign-up sheet in Word and passed it around the class? How many emails did you get requesting changes? Using a Wiki page can make signing up and scheduling easy. Here are the steps.
- Create the sign up sheet in a Word document as you normall would.
- Instead of printing it, select all the text, hold down the ctrl. key and simultaneously press the C key to copy the text to the clipboard.
- Open a Blackboard Wiki. (Directions for creating a Wiki.)
- Click "New Page" in the Right-Hand menu.
- Click the "Paste from Word" icon, and click "save."
- Instruct students to click "Edit Page" to add their names in the appropriate space and click "save" when they are finished.
