The Assignment Feature in Blackboard

The assignment feature in Blackboard allows for paperless transmission of completed written work that links directly to the grade book. It is especially useful for writing assignments and any other assessments. Using the assignment feature, a professor is able to see at a glance whether a student has completed an assignment, or whether it needs to be graded. Reviewing student work is easy because both the original work and the work with comments are preserved under the assignment heading.

Note: In future iterations of Blackboard, the Digital Drop Box will be dropped because most Blackboard clients use the Assignment feature.
